Yeah right. I think the number of "Dismount Zone" signs is greater than the number of bikes on campus. Okay, a gross exaggeration on my part but it certainly is silly of the school to put this up. I wonder what prompted them to do so?
Seriously. Glad someone else noticed these signs. I feel the same way every time I walk (note: rather than bike, as there are not any bike lanes) past one of these signs on my way to work too.
I searched for more info on why these signs were placed around campus and that's how I found your blog :D
